 Scopello

Scopello is a small village devoted in the past, to the  tuna fishing activity, in which still remain, nowadays as a national monument, the ruins of a Tonnara, standing on a hill overlooking a beautiful marine scenery
All  inside of this Tonnara, capable in its stores, you can admire the “muciare”, the “palischermi”, the little boats, trawlers, vessels used for fishing the  tuna, as well as the pretty little church.
The Scopello holiday has its hub in the heart of the quaint village, Piazza Nettuno, eighteenth-century city wall perimeter from the "garden of the king", whose center is a “bevitoio” made in  stone; you can also visit and admire the Baglio Isonzo of eighteenth-century origin.
Enjoy the “pane cunzatu” (seasoned), a warm bread, baked in a wood oven, with olive oil, anchovies, oregano, tomato and cheese, that is a way for tourists to return to the old colors and traditions of this village and marry an unforgettable flavor to a picturesque place to remember with joy.
